gallery update no. 09Gallery Update No. 9 - South Tyrol Edition

Tre Cime di Lavaredo! The Dolomites are such a beautiful place especially in autumn, the trees get wonderful colors and the region is not so much crowded. I spent there five days and had always the best weather: from the morning to the evening sun without clouds. Sounds more beatiful than it is, for a photographer are some clouds are always welcome. But nothing to complain. I took some nice shots which I want to present you in my new gallery update. And last but not least several shots of the Umbal Valley from September.

There are also new photos in the Cityscapes and Aerials category. So take your time and make a visit to the gallery.

composition how to master preview

Composition – How to Master?

When it comes to composition in photography, one would prefer to have a rule of thumb like the one you have for example with exposure. But this is not the case because the composition of an image is sometimes the most difficult thing to master, but also strongly dependent on the personal preferences of the photographer. As always it is a question of taste, but this taste should follow some elementary rules for a successful composition.

Landscape Jewels - East Tyrol

A new video of my series Landscape Jewels. This time it's all about East Tyrol in Austria. This beautiful region offers the alps and many waterfalls like the huge Krimml Waterfalls. The video shows the Virgental, the Umbal valley with it's glacier, the highest mountain of Austria the Großglockner and much more.

Everything was taken with DJI Phantom 4 Pro and the timelapses were made with the Nikon D750. Produced in UHD. Click and enjoy the views.
