Number 8. All my best shots from my trip to East Tyrol in July 2018. They can be found in the landscape and aerial section. The part of Austria is just a picture book with endless motifs and ideas to photgraph. And some new photographs of Berlin and Saxon Switzerland. Stay tuned for my video with many drone scenes and timelapses.

East Tyrol - A Picture Book
Quite late but here they are, the pictures of my trip from Austria. In the beginning July we spent there one week and it was amazing. Alps, snow covered peaks, dense coniferous forests and beautiful valleys. This article shows you the best pictures of my stay made with the Nikon D850, D750 and the best aerial shots from the DJI Phantom 4 Pro.

A Heartfelt Wish: A Milky Way Panorama
It’s done! There are some milestones on my photography-to-do-list and this is on of them: a panorama of the milky way. Everyone who knows my guide for star photography will say you already did this but this photo is much much more intense and impressing. East Tyrol offers endless possibilites to capture stunning photos of the alps but this is by far my best shot from there so it get an own article right here. And stay tuned for my other pictures from Austria.

Nikon D850 - 120 fps Slow Motion Test
It's get technical again. During our shoot of our short film we had the chance to test the slow motion capabilities of the Nikon D850. So we filmed the warmup of our actor and are satisfied what we could capture. This material was internally recorded at 120 fps at 1080p and is automatically scaled down to 30 fps for playback. The D850 was mounted on a DJI Ronin and the lens we used for this was the Nikkor 24-70 2.8 ED VR. You get a super smooth slow motion with this function, but unfortunately not in UHD. But all in all it is a very useful result. For color correction and grading I used Davinci Resolve 14 Studio.
A huge thank you to Redefinition Records that we can use their music!
