gallery update no. 13Gallery Update Number 13

It is about time to update the gallery. The last update was over one year ago. I was able to hike a lot in the last year. So I captured a lot of beautiful forest trail shots and there was also one holiday in northern Italy possible were we visited the Lago Maggiore where we located in the town Verbania. After one week we moved to South Tyrol, the third time in a row for me. Propably one of the most beautiful places here in Europe.

The most new pictures you will find in the Landscapes section. So enjoy the new shots in the:

  • faster editing with Brushes and Gradients and greater optimized scrolling for Folders and Collections
  • tethered Live View for Canon cameras
  • new scrubby and box zoom
  • added cameras and lenses to the database

Write down your opinion about the new update in the comments.

HDR and Long Exposure Blending in Photoshop

The benefits of a HDR image combined with style of a long exposure? Adobe Photoshop makes it easily possible to blend both kind of techniques to one image. This tutorial shows an easy workflow combined with your Lightroom Catalog. What do you think about this technique? Is this already too much manipulation? Let me know in the comments.
